In 2017, brothers Mark and Matt James proudly took over their father’s business, continuing a legacy built on hard work, family values, and quality craftsmanship. Having been involved in the manufactured housing industry since their youth, stemming from working for their father who had James Mobile Home Service, they bring decades of combined experience to Solid Gold Homes. Together, they are dedicated to maintaining the company’s reputation for excellence and ensuring every customer’s experience is second to none.

Mark leads the Sales Office with enthusiasm and expertise. He’s passionate about helping customers find the perfect home and showcasing the value of our homes from Kit Custom Homebuilders. With extensive knowledge of both the products and the process, Mark is committed to guiding every customer through a smooth and enjoyable home-buying experience from start to finish.

Matt oversees the Install Crew, ensuring every home is delivered, set, and finished with precision and care. From rolling homes onto their forever foundations to completing the final interior details, Matt holds his team to the highest quality standards.
